Mekari Acquires Jojonomic to Strengthen Indonesian Business Digitalization

Mekari , a leading software-as-a-service (SaaS) company in Indonesia, announced the acquisition of Jojonomic , a company that develops no-code solutions, namely Officeless Operating System, on Friday, June 21, 2024 in Jakarta. This acquisition will expand Mekari's digital solutions and services presented to accelerate digital transformation and sustainable business growth in Indonesia.

Mekari provides a variety of business solutions, including for human resources (HR) , payroll , accounting , tax , and customer relationship management (CRM) , for MSMEs and large companies. Since 2015, Mekari has supported the operations of more than 35,000 businesses and 1 million professionals in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, Jojonomic, founded in 2015, provides Officeless Operating System (OOS) solutions that function as no-code and low-code technology platforms where businesses can develop applications according to their needs easily and quickly. Jojonomic has served hundreds of companies, especially large Indonesian companies in the banking, logistics, manufacturing, and energy sectors.

Suwandi Soh, CEO of Mekari, said that this acquisition was based on a shared mission, namely to accelerate the digital transformation of various businesses and sharpen the digital capabilities of professionals in Indonesia by presenting innovative, agile , and scalable technology-based solutions and services .

Additionally, the acquisition will pave the way for cross-product customization and integration tailored to business demands, especially large enterprises.

Samiaji Adisasmito, CEO of Jojonomic , said that this acquisition will enable more businesses to access the Officeless Operating System, a no-code and low-code platform that allows businesses to create application software efficiently, even without in-depth knowledge of code development.
